Can I use CLARITY ACUITY with only one monitor?

Absolutely! Most offices choose to use a second monitor due to convenience, since trying to work on a computer that is mounted high on a wall for exam purposes can be uncomfortable. Plus, the price of a second monitor is relatively low.

If your lane has special requirements that our standard packages do not meet, please email our sales department so we can work out a custom solution for you.

I already have a second monitor. Will it work with CLARITY ACUITY?

As long as it can display charts and other included media at the proper size and does not have any color calibration issues, any monitor should work. We do not recommend using a monitor smaller than 17".

Will CLARITY ACUITY help me qualify for the ADA tax credit?

Clarity Acuity's unique handicap chair distance feature and symbolic charts for non-verbal patients will allow you to qualify for an ADA Tax Credit if you have never applied for one before. Clarity Acuity can also be installed on laptops, netbooks or tablet PCs for off-site vision screenings and home-bound patients. Consult your accounting professional regarding ADA requirements.

I have Windows Media Player 11, but the installer is telling me I need Windows Media Player 10. What should I do?

The installer may not recognize that you have WMP 11 installed, but it is fully compatible. Simply uncheck the Windows Media Player 10 line in the Prerequisites window to skip WMP 10 and continue installing the software.

I've installed the software, and I get a DirectX error when I try to run it.

You'll need to update the DirectX installation on your computer. Click here to update DirectX.
